Warslow & Elkstones Action Group Presents
Warslow Beer Festival
Saturday 1st July 2017
FREE ENTRY 12 NOON - 12 MIDNIGHT
This year, once again, we have something for all the family, including children's entertainment, live bands, vintage rally, a fell race, fabulous food from the Peak District and of course, a wonderful array of over 25 real ales and ciders.
The Copy Catz are now a regular feature of the Warslow Beer Festival and we're pleased to welcome them back for 2016.
Playing a brilliant mixture of songs, old and new, their distinctive, easy-going style lends itself to a lazy afternoon in the sun, supping a pint of fine ale or a glass of Pimms.
Warslow Silver Band
Our very own Warslow Silver Band are back again this year with their lively mix of band standards and intriguing surprises.
Traditionally, the Silver Band open up our entertainments with a couple of performances starting at around 1pm.
Always popular with kids and adults alike.
After barnstorming performances over the last couple of years, we just had to have them back.
There's no better way to finish off the event than moving and grooving to that Funk Station sound!

Proceeds of food sales go towards good causes and next year's festival.
Burgers and Sausages
Locally sourced beef and sausages (Meakins Butchers in Leek) served on freshly baked buns (Ashbourne Bakery) with delicious fried onions and condiments.
The now legendary vegetable chilli served with fresh bread and butter.
We never seem to have enough of these amazing vegetable samosas made by hand in Normanton, Derby.
Produced and donated by villagers and locals, there's a wide array of cup cakes, sliced cakes, brownies, etc.
Warslow Beer Festival Fell Race 2016
2016 saw Warslow Beer Festival's first fell race.
Taking in the wondrous aspects of Ecton Hill, Sugarloaf and the Wetton hills and covering over 6.2 miles with over 1,750 feet of climb, the race was a challenge for runners of all standards.
Many a refreshing pint was imbibed after the event!
Results of the 2016 race are available here: http://www.fellrunner.org.uk/results.php?id=3516
For details of next year's race, please email: firstname.lastname@example.org or call Will Meredith on 07847393457.
A popular attraction every year in the field opposite Warslow Village Hall.
Get up close and personal to an array of machinery from classic cars to tractors and steam engines.
If you have a vintage or classic vehicle, no matter how pristine or tatty, please bring it along - the more the merrier!
Free camping is available for Beer Festival guests on SATURDAY NIGHT ONLY.
The campsite is opposite the Village Hall and will be well sign-posted.
There are no facilities on the field but the public toilets in the Village Hall are open all night.
Please be careful when crossing the road at night, especially with children - it is a 30mph zone but no-one seems to stick to the limit...
Space is available on a first come, first served basis.
If you would like to camp on Friday or over the whole weekend, please contact Hulme End Campsite which is only about a mile away.
